Oral replacement therapy of electolyte and fluid loss in children an adults arising from dehydration associated with acute diarrhoea.

Multiflavour (blackcurrant
Sodium chloride 0.236 g
Potassium chloride 0.3 g
Sodium bicarbonate 0.5 g
Anhydrous dextrose 4 g

Adults: contants of 1 to 2 sachets dissolved in 200ml (400ml) of fresh drinking water after each loose motion. Maximum 16 sachets in 24 hours. Children over 2 years: contents of one sachet dissolved in 200ml fresh drinking water after each loose motion. Maximum 12 sachets in 24 hours. Under 2 years: use only under medical advice.
